I am an organic chemist from Austin, Texas. I became interested in amateur chemistry in 2013, and have been a moderator of the Sciencemadness Discussion Board since 2015. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in chemistry in 2019. I then moved to Utah, where I am currently pursuing a chemistry PhD (expected completion summer 2025). Due to the amount of time I spend in the lab for my PhD research, I have had neither time nor motivation to pursue amateur chemistry for the last several years, but I hope to return to it someday when I have more spare time.
